Terms of Service
Last updated 1 October 2026
1. Who provides the services
Services are provided by Mohamed Fahid, an independent freelancer based in Your City, Country ("I", "me"). Contact: hello@mohamedfahid.com.
2. Services
I provide remote, business-to-business technical services:
- Linux VPS Maintenance & System Updates: patching, upgrades, configuration, hardening and monitoring.
- VPS Troubleshooting & Emergency Recovery: finding and fixing outages, errors and slow performance.
- Technical SEO & Infrastructure Optimization: server speed, crawling and indexing work.
No physical goods are sold or shipped. The scope of each job is set out in a written quote that the client accepts by email before work starts.
3. Your responsibilities
- You own, or are authorised to manage, every server and website included in the work.
- You give me the access I need (SSH key, control panel or DNS access) and keep your hosting account active.
- You approve changes in writing when I ask, and keep your own backups unless backups are part of the quote.
4. Quotes, invoices and payment
- There are no fixed packages. Each job is priced in a written quote based on your requirements and the estimated time.
- Ongoing maintenance is invoiced monthly in advance at the fee agreed in the quote.
- Fixes and emergency work are invoiced after delivery for the hours worked, logged in 15-minute steps and kept within the agreed estimate unless you approve more.
- Fixed-price projects and audits are normally invoiced 50% before work starts and 50% on delivery.
- Invoices are due within 7 days. Each invoice line names one of the services above and refers to the approved quote, the maintenance month or the hours worked.
5. Delivery and acceptance
Work is delivered remotely. Each delivery comes with a written report, change log or before-and-after measurements sent by email. Work is treated as accepted if you raise no written objection within 5 business days.
6. Confidentiality and access
Credentials and client data are used only for the agreed work, stored encrypted, and deleted or returned when the work ends. I don't name clients without their permission.
7. Liability
I carry out the work with reasonable professional care. Search engine rankings and the behaviour of third-party platforms are outside my control and are not guaranteed. My total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for that service in the 3 months before the claim.
8. Ending the work
Ongoing maintenance renews monthly and either side can cancel with 14 days' written notice. Refunds follow the refund and cancellation policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Your Country. We will first try to settle any disagreement in good faith by email.
